UC Men's Octet - West Coast A Cappella Showcase 2009

The UC Men's Octet is the premier all-male a cappella group at the University of California, Berkeley. They are internationally known and loved, garnering audiences from across the globe from New York to Beijing. Singing everything from pop to doo wop, the Octet can be seen singing every Wednesday afternoon at 1 p.m. underneath the beautiful Sather Gate.

2009 West Coast A Cappella Showcase

The UC Men's Octet and the California Golden Overtones present the 9th Annual West Coast A Cappella Showcase! Some of the best a cappella groups all over the west coast will be performing. You won't want to miss this these two nights of sweet, sweet music! Tickets are $7 for UC Berkeley students, $9 for all other students, and $10 for general admission. You can buy tickets online at tickets.berkeley.edu or by calling (510)642-3880. Tickets can also be purchased at the Student Musical Activities Office located at 72 Cesar Chavez Basement or at the door starting one hour before the show. Sproul Performances

Upper Sproul Plaza, under Sather Gate at 1PM

Every Wednesday at 1PM, the Octet gives a free performance for its greatest fans, the Cal students. Everyone is invited to join us, rain or shine, for a song-filled fun afternoon where no two weeks are the same. Our first Sproul will be Wednesday August 26, 2009!

Home Football Tailgating!

Before every home football game, the Octet can be found throughout campus singing and spreading Cal spirit! Be on the lookout for us! If you'd like us to sing for your tailgate party, just send us an email! The first home game is Saturday, September 5, 2009 against Maryland. See you there! Go Bears!
